So What Has Happened Was... was the first original play ever written by Edison Students. Written through improvisation, random events, and continuous production meetings, this play came to life. This was also the first play to not be directed by Max Athorn (Edison's former Artistic Director).
A rendition of the 1982 Broadway musical that follows Seymour Krelborn who works at a florist shop and has a crush on his co-worker Audrey. One day Seymour discovers a new plant, but when it starts demanding to be fed blood, Audrey and Seymour have to work together to defeat it.
Two Shakespeare classics in one large production! In a Shakespeare Festival, both high school students and middle school students from the Northeast, Minneapolis community came together to perform.
