Theater Staff

Dudley Voigt
Theatre artist and educator Dudley Voight has created, produced, directed and stage managed theatrical productions, educational tours, arts programs and events for over 25 years. She also co-founded art programs in North Minneapolis like North High Touring Ensemble, Teens Rock the Mic, the new North Community Theater, and FLOW Northside Arts Crawl. Meanwhile, she has transformed vacant spaces into galleries, theaters, restaurants, boutiques and ballrooms in North Minneapolis. Dudley utilizes her relationships with artists, businesses and organizations to develop creative events and installations that activate space and create unique cultural experiences for the community.
Raederle Sterling
Ms. Sterling has been teaching at Edison for seven years. She teaches 10th grade English and Performance Theatre and typically directs the Winter Play. She loves directing and working with students to create art as an ensemble.
Edison Staff
These Edison Staff have been apart of the performing arts for most if not all of their lives whether they have been working directly in the cast, as a member of the Stage Crew, or as a member of the music development. With their arrival at Edison, their hard-work and determination have impacted the lives of so many in such a strong way.

Stacey Athorn
Ms. Athorn has been at Edison for 14 years. She teaches pop, beginning, and advanced choir as well as IB music. In the theater department, Ms. Stacey is in charge of the vocals for the Fall Musical.
Kenna-Camara Cottman
Kenna-Camara Cottman is Black, non-binary, a cultural artist, and repping North Minneapolis. Kenna runs Voice of Culture Drum and Dance, where we create Black space for practicing cultural arts and liberation. Kenna has taught many things including Montessori elementary school, College level dance, and kickboxing. Kenna has worked many places including Franklin Middle School, TU Dance Center, and at a coffee shop. Kenna is a proud member of BLAQ, The Wild Duo, and WE WIN, among other organizations. Kenna is the child of community parents Bill and Beverly Cottman, and the mother of Yonci Peaceful and Ebrima Baye. www.voiceofculture.org
Karl Reinhard
Mr. Reinhard is a retired math teacher who taught in Minneapolis Public Schools from 1981 to 2014. He has been involved in Edison theater since 2010 as the advisor for the tech crew. The crew is responsible for building sets, lighting, sound, and video recordings for each production at Edison.
Theater Leadership Council
Theater Leadership Council is a leadership group of student staff (grades 10-12) who are in charge of planning agendas, keeping notes on meetings, tracking attendance, communicating with students, and organizing the budgets of the Theater and Tech Crew.
