Something that went well during our escape room was that the parents ended up completing it. Another thing that went well with them was. Some things that were challenging for our players was figuring out how to solve the puzzles. They would all look at it and try to figure it out, and then they would have to ask for a clue.I think that the players felt that they did not really learn much about light and sound waves. They said that they were too busy trying to figure out how to solve the clues that they did not really pay attention to the scientific content.I think that the players felt that the escape room was pretty immersive. They said that the artifacts made it very immersive and they liked them a lot.If I was going to make an escape room again, I would have everything more organized so everyone knows what is happening. I feel that our group was not really very organized, and that when someone changed something, they wouldn’t tell anybody and it got really confusing. That ended up with our escape room being unfinished and us having to work really hard on the last day.I feel that my group did not really work well together to complete this. We were constantly arguing and not very productive, leading to us being very behind. We had to make up a lot of work on the last day and it got pretty stressful.
This quiz was about the different properties of light and what makes up a wave. I got a 8/9 or a meets on this test because I got one of the questions incorrect. For upcoming science quizzes, I will try to get all of the questions correct.
The purpose of this anchor chart was to show our understanding of wave physics and what we learned in each class period. The grade that I got on this anchor chart was approaching. For the next anchor chart, I hope to get a meets instead. To get this grade next time, I will refine a lot more and put more scientific content in.
