Confidence
How has your definition of confidence changed over this past semester?
In the beginning of the year my definition of confidence was being certain about something. Now my definition of confidence is trusting myself and knowing that I can accomplish almost anything I focus on.
What is something this semester that you have gained confidence in?
An example of how my confidence changed in my school work is in my presentations because in the beginning of the year I was super quiet and didn’t have a lot of confidence when speaking in front of an audience. Now I feel more comfortable when speaking to an audience. In my POL I received an approaching because I didn’t enunciate very well, I didn’t speak loud enough, and I didn’t have a lot of my script memorized. Whereas in my most recent presentation, my Farming Exhibition, I received a meets because I was a lot louder and I enunciated, even though my script wasn’t memorized.
Miriam Morgan has been teaching me my whole life and has inspired me in so many different ways. Through the time that she has been teaching me she has always demonstrated all the habits of heart and mind even when she is having a hard day. I try to be like Miriam by keeping a positive attitude, accepting people for who they are, and helping others.
