What I am most proud of for this exhibition is my menu. I am most proud of this because I put so much work into it, and I added a lot of information. I think that I covered all of the topics for my ingredients, and I made it look good as well. I also memorized it completely and even though one of my ingredients was really hard to write a summary about, I still persevered and figured it out.The hardest part of the exhibition was making the actual food. I was making macarons, but I had never really struggled with them until the day of exhibition. I didn't have some of the ingredients, so I just had to use what I had. Most of them got messed up and I only had about 10 good ones. The icing also got messed up when I didn't have enough powdered sugar and it became really watery. Nevertheless, I still had about 8 good ones that I could serve to the guests. I think if I had all of my ingredients then I would be able to make them better. Lastly, I think I demonstrated and connected with refinement on this exhibition. Why I think this is because on both my menu and my modern day slavery awareness poster, I thought I had finished, but then I realized that they were both very unorganized and had very little information on them. I think that since I went back and changed them, I got a much better grade than I would have originally. Overall, I think I did great on this exhibition, and I think it was a very fun and creative way to showcase our knowledge of the Columbian Exchange.
