6th grade

Hello and welcome to my 6th grade TPOL, my name is Ellie Rice, and today I will be discussing what I have learned this year. I am 12 years old and in 6th grade. I enjoy playing sports and playing piano. My hobbies are painting, baking, and gardening. Some subjects in school that I like are Science and Art. My favorite sport to play is soccer, and I just finished playing the piano piece Fur Elise. My favorite thing to bake is macarons, and I love to plant flowers. 

Overall Personal Growth This Year

I have grown a lot in 6th grade. I have grown in all of my Habits of Heart and Mind, as I have just talked about. I have grown academically and extracurricularly. I am ready for 7th grade because I have spent this entire year learning to work up to 7th grade. I am presenting to you right now to show that I am ready for 7th grade. I have also grown in and demonstrated the habits of heart and mind so well.

                                                Confidence

To finish up, I will reconnect with my 6th grade lens, Confidence. Based on everything I have presented, you can see that my confidence has grown immensely. At the start of the year, I was afraid to voice my opinion and speak up when I didn’t agree with something. Now that I have had the time to get to know everyone and to learn more, I am more confident when I am speaking and when I don’t agree with something. My confidence has also grown academically by me becoming more confident in math. It has grown outside of school in my extracurricular activities.
