My favorite part of this art piece is the fox. This represents me because my last name is fox and I love skiing so I found something that combines the two. I chose these colors and this cartoony style because I thought the fox would really pop nicely with a bright pallet and I chose the cartoony style because it fit the character best.

My favorite part about this project was the cherry blossoms. I was inspired to paint this from when we visited the cherry blossoms in Washington DC. For this painting I used Impressionism. I think the element of art I used most was color. When people see this piece I want people to feel happy and peaceful.

I was inspired to make this piece by my trip to Greece where we saw a octopus. The emotions in my art piece are happy, peaceful, and gentle. For the project I used oil pastels and gradients to make my art more vibrant and happy. The main elements of art I used were form to shade in my octopus creating a more 3d effect. The personal connection I had with this piece was it makes me think of the little octopus I saw in Greece. I hope that people will feel joy and peace when they see my picture.
