In math, we're in our second unit about Scale Drawings, Similarity, and Slope, but I'm going to share some examples from my first unit with you today.
On this test, I got a 0 but that's okay, because I didn't know any of the material yet.
On THIS test, I got a meets (yay!). I grew in this subject so much in this unit.
In science, we're working on learning about the cycling of energy through an ecosystem and building a community more resilient to drought
On this assignment, I really feel like I could've done better, but I think I've improved since then.
On this poster, I worked really hard and. I researched a lot. I think that it paid off.
Right now, in social studies, we are working on our exhibition, The Evolution of Storytelling. We are learning about important things like the Invention of the printing press by Johannes Gutenberg, and more.
I only got a meets on this annotation, and highlighted way to much. I should've explained what my thoughts meant. I think I could've done better.
These annotations I did much better on, and got an exceeds. I did only get a meets on the 3 sentence response, though.
In ELA, we've been working on our Storytelling exhibition, and this week is Banned books week, where we learn about the affect of banning books on communities.
On our I-ready results, I scored lowest on Comprehension: Informational Text. I want to work on that more this year, with the help of our in-class annotations because they are usually informational text.
On my first Vocabulary homework, I got a meets because I didn't use proper punctuation and capitalization. I really think that I improved and put the effort into getting exceeds on my other homework.
In this SIG with Mr. Lauron, we are working on writing stories, whether for books or for otherwise.
In this SIG with Mrs. Dunlop, we just do crafts and hang out with friends.
In art class with Ms. Heidi, we are working on book sculptures for our ELA exhibiton.
