POL Goal reflection:
Reflecting on my goal to achieve more self-respect around my friends, I can say I have made notable strides. By consciously working on ignoring hurtful comments and maintaining my composure, I have built a stronger sense of self-worth. This effort has allowed me to focus on positive interactions and disregard negativity, which has not only improved my self-esteem but also the way I engage with my peers. Friends have noticed this change, often commenting on my newfound resilience and calmness. The difference it has made is profound—I feel more confident and less affected by negative remarks, which has significantly contributed to my personal growth and overall well-being.
Goal for Respect: My goal is to accomplish more self-respect around my friends so that when they call me something that makes me feel bad, I can always just ignore it and continue like nothing happened.
I will try to remember this goal whenever I don't like my artwork, and to ask for advice from others on what to change, and if I should start over or not. Others will know that I'm actually doing it when they see me talking and conferring with my peers and just tweaking my artwork, not painting over it or erasing it. The difference it will make is that I'll eventually come to realize that I don't need to start over, and that my art is usually fine as it is.
Reflecting on this goal, I think that I did not excel in it. I sort-of forgot that I set this goal and didn't particularly work on it. Next time I will try to remember it.
My goal for integrity is to be more of a role model for others. I will try to keep my eyes on the teacher when the teacher when their talking and getting work done. People will see me completing this goal by listening the first time when the teacher gives me instructions. The difference this will make is that I will be more of a respectful student, and others would look up to that.
Reflecting on my goal to view failures and challenges as opportunities for growth, I believe I have made significant progress. By consistently reflecting on setbacks and actively seeking the positive aspects of each situation, I have developed a more optimistic outlook. This change has not only improved my resilience but has also been noticed by others, who have commented on my more positive demeanor and approach to life. The difference it has made is substantial—I feel more empowered and motivated to learn from my experiences, which has facilitated personal growth and development. This journey has truly transformed my perspective, allowing me to embrace challenges as stepping stones to success.
My goal for effort to see some of my failures or challenges as a chance to grow. I will accomplish this goal by reflecting on what happened and trying to see what this could be (in a positive way) for me. Others will notice that I'm looking at life more positively. The difference it will make is I will become farther along in growth.
Reflecting on my goal to speak up whenever I need something, I can see significant progress. By consistently asking for help when necessary, I have become more comfortable communicating my needs. This change has been noticed by others, who see me reaching out for assistance more often. As a result, I have been able to complete more projects efficiently, ensuring that I get the support needed to overcome challenges. This proactive approach has not only boosted my productivity but also fostered a more collaborative and supportive environment. Overall, this has greatly contributed to my personal growth and success.
I'll try to do this by speaking up whenever I feel like I need something. Others will know that I'm doing this when they see me asking for help more often. This will help me get more projects done because I will ask for help when I need it.
Confidence for me has changed so much for me over this semester. In the begging of this semester, I thought that confidence meant thatc Now I realize that confidence isn't being amazing at something, it's being confident with who you are
