Our exhibitions where based around reactions, mine was the Sugar Snake chemical reaction. The Sugar Snake is a chemical reaction that forms with sugar baking, soda, and lighter fluid. It caused a crispy reaction that moves up and gets bigger the longer its in the flames. For our exhibitions we had to do the reaction and talk a lot about it. I got a meets overall for this exhibition and I feel like that what I deserved. I worked hard on my part and put in the right amount of effort. Next time I want to try my best to get an exceeds by memorizing my script completely and not talking fast.

The Law OF Conservation Of Mass was a project we did where we read an article and had to answer the questions about the law of conservation of mass. I really enjoyed this project because I got to make a poster and I love making posters. I got a meets on this poster and that is what I think I deserved. Next time I want to try and go above and beyond somehow on the next poster I make. I don't really know how to go past the normal on a poster but Im still going to try.

I kinda enjoyed this lab, the lab itself was fun because I got to answer a couple questions that I had wondered about before. I had some trouble on my RACE paragraph and ended up with an approaching. This was be causing I wasn't specific enough when explaining the chemical bonds. I learned from this that I can always be more specific and that being specific will never work against me. I learned from this what the covalent and ionic bonds where and that covalent is kind and shares its atoms with other molecules but that ionic is greedy and just wants to take all of them causing one molecule to be positive and one molecule to be negative.

The element info graphic Assignment was really fun for me. We got assigned an element from the periodic table of elements and had to make a poster about it. We had to add a atom model that we make along with the element square that we make along with information about our element. I got carbon and wrote about everything needed along with making the atom and element square.

In the Temperature and Condition lab we worked with hot and cold water and how the temperature would change depending on the washers we put in the water. We then took notes on what we saw and wrote a RACE paragraph (restate, answer, cite, explain). I got a meets on this which means I met the standards. Next time I want to get an exceeds. I want to do this by refining my work and re reading it before turning it it. I also want to get an exceeds by writing for then the minimal amount of sentences.
