Fractions

We did a lot with fractions this year. We worked on how to multiply, divide, add and subtract. I already knew some of the stuff and it was a partial review, but I learned new methods and am not hating fractions anymore. For an example I use to multiple the fraction by going straight across, which is fine for the smaller numbers but if you have say 65700/23400 x 800/250 it can be really difficult and a long time to solve, Mr.Rich tough us to simplify to equation. By doing this it makes it a hole lot easier because then you are just multiplying the smaller numbers that you have memorized. At first when he tough us this method I was really confused but now I love it.

Decimals

We did learn a descent amount decimals this year, I learned a lot about decimals last year but this year we focused on dividing decimals. When we first started to subject of diving decimals it was confusing and I was not enjoying it, but now that we have worked with it for a while I have gotten better and it is easier. I think this i important because you use decimals for money, the decimal is kind of like the cents.

Life Project

The life project was a project that we where working on through out the year. We basically had to plan our life after collage, this link bellow is the doc for this project.
