Student interest groups

In the Rock Climbing SIG/Student Interest Group we have been going to the Gravity Lab and we have gone Bouldering. We have learned many skills. For example, we have learned safety, we have learned how to grab holds that are out of your simple reach, and we have also learned how balay.

In the Mountain Ambassador sig we have been fundraising and event planning for causes and for fun at school. We have been planning ways to support causes that we feel that people need to be aware of. For example, the cause that my group is incharge of is kids in need. This includes kids who have bad home lives, kids below the poverty line, and/or kids with illnesses whether its mental or physical.

In this SIG we like in the name knit and Crochet.  So far in this sig I have been Crocheting just for fun. I also have Finger Crocheted  lots of bracelets. I am really enjoying this sig. It is fun because I have lots of friends and its more just relaxing.

During this SIG we can create whatever we really want but with the materials we have.  I have mostly made drawings, name tags, and used some clay. This SIG has been fun because I have friends and I like making whatever I want.
