The learning target for this assignment is I can create a Ad to demonstrate my knowledge of the Maya Civilization.

I exceeded the expectations of the learning target.

What did you do to complete the assignment?

For this we had to fill out a sheet describing the social structure or classes of the Maya people. Then we made Help Wanted posters for a job in either the Upper class, the Middle class, and the Lower class.

What things can you take away from this assignment for your future self?

In the future I think that I can manage my time more because when we started making the help wanted poster we had to rush a little.

Interview With a Conquistador

I think that I did help a lot. I think this because, I helped make the script and I definitely helped with the podcast recording, since I was a host. I also think that we were all really on task because we finished on time and the podcast was really good in my opinion.

I think that I put a good amount of effort into my choice board project which was a journal entry. I think this because I tried to add lots of detail and I also tried to write as much as I could. The only thing is that I picked one that is easier for me since in 5th we did a exhibition where we had to make many of these entries.

For this exibition we had to make artifacts to represent the rise and fall of your civilization. My artifact for rise was a Llama harness, and for demise I made a Bone to represent sacrifice.

I think that I used lots of refinement for this project. I think because I tried to add lots of details while making my artifacts and I tried to make them really realistic. I also refined my summaries a lot and added details. Last I practiced my script a lot.
