What Region did you Study?
My group studied the California area.
How did the exhibition go?
I think this exhibition went well and our presentation had accurate info and had a good display.
What was your favorite part?
My favorite part was presenting the project.
What challenges did you face?
During the presentation we sometimes got out of order and some words were not pronounced correct. Before exhibition the building was hard because we all had different ideas and some things were hard to make.
Did you meet your group work goal?
I did meet my goal in my opinion because I never was behind on my research and when we were behind on building I took stuff home.
This field trip was super fun. We went on a hike exploring some ruins and doing activities. Some of my favorite part were weaving. Another memorie is throwing the Atlatl. This was my very favorite part because it was so fun and I hit the target a lot so I was good at it. I also enjoyed seeing and hearing about ruins. Some things we learned was that Chimney Rock was once covered by an ocean and erosion was how the two pillars were formed. We also learned how the natives thought they were formed. They thought that monsters attacked and two warriors came and fought them off. They were about to leave the puebloan people but the people were worried the monsters would come back so the warriors sat there ready to fight if the monsters came back. I think that I gained confidence this trip because I now know more and it helped that I was good at throwing the Atlatl and weaving.
