force and Motion Unit #3

Rocket manual

I got a meets on this manual, We had to write about how newtons laws and how they relate to a rocket and how it moves. this was very fun, we got to pick how we wanted to show the information and we were able to use our creativity.

Anchor Charts

In thses anchor charts after every class we would add everything at we learned that day and this time we learned about Force and motion. I really liked doing Anchor charts after every class because it really helping me with understanding what we are learning and putting it into my brain and locking it in. Even though we will not have this in the future i want to keep doing this so I can use them as notes and then look back on them if I need too. Throught this year Ive been getting better at adding more detail and more into them and making them undersand able and easry to read.

Quizes

Overall on these quizzes I got a meets on all three quizzes. These quizes were good to undersand were I was in my learning with in this unit.

Waves Unit #2

Learning target: I can demonstrate my understanding of waves physics by designing and construing an escape room that incorporates these principles effectively.

Escape room Refection

In this exhibition we made escape rooms. We had groups of 4 and we got to choose two topics to repentant each. I choose to do explaining the reflection , refraction, and absorption and I also did The electromagnetic spectrum including the relationship between wave lengths, frequency and wave type as well as colors and visible light.

My group did really well working together overall I say we should get a meets. Even though we worked so well together we still had some hills and valleys. I think we worked really well with our exhibition groups. We got each other back on task, and we had jobs everyone had one or another job. Even though we did this very well I still think we could improve on most of it for example communication. Me and two of my other group menders were good at this and were also asking for feedback but the other person did not include themselves at all in most of the exhibition work time and if they did it would be very little. If I were to redo this exhibition then I would do a couple things differently. For example I would do my puzzles then I would do my clues and prioritize the clues and not spend as much time off task and get it done. I would also add more to the tent to make it feel more immersive like painting or table props and cool chairs.

Anchor Charts unit 2

On this anchor chart I overall got a meets, on my last unit anchor chart I got a exceeds. On my next unit anchor chart I want to get another exceeds. A anchor chart is assigned for each unit and we do one after every class to show our understanding of the lesson that we did that day. These are one of me favorite assignments of all year, because it really gives me a chance to show and prove my learning in each unit.

Waves quiz #1

In this quiz I got a meets which was a 8/10. This quiz was all about the waves was we have learned in this unit so far. For my next quiz I will be getting a 9/10 at least and a 10/10, I will be able to complete this by using my archer charts to refresh was i have learned be fore the quiz.

Light waves

So far in this unit we have been learning a lot of light waves. We have also learned about our eyes like the rods and cones we have in our eyes that can make us see color.

Sound waves are mechanical waves that travel through a medium by causing the particles of that medium to vibrate back and forth, parallel to the direction the wave travels

Chemistry Unit #1

learning target: I can apply my understanding of the structure and properties of matter by professionally demonstrating my chemical reaction and explaining how it occurs verbally, visually and in writing.

Anchor Charts unit 1

All through sciences we would make anchor charts that would sum up everything for the day that we did. I got a Exeeds I did over 5 pages and these are very discripeve of everything that they did, for my next one I want to do the same thing.

Chemistry Unit test

For this test I got a 34/37 each is a meets+. This quiz was easier for me because I got to take my time with the questions and I did not feel rushed like the quizzes. I believe the on the next quiz and text I can do so much better then what I did this unit because I already learned from my mistakes and more. For this test I could of gone back and reflected more, and looked back though the test and make sure I did it right, not only for this test but also for all the ones to come.

Chemistry Quiz #2

This quiz I got a meets because I got 6/8. This quiz was easier but I hesitated to answer them so I got them wrong. I think I could of taken my time and really thought about it. I will do better on our unit quiz because I will learn from my mistakes.

Chemistry Quiz #1

This quiz was all about Atoms, what's in them, whats the mass number and there was even a question on bonds. I got all the questions right and tried my hardest on this quiz. for the next quiz I think if I do the same thing I will do great because I got prepared and I also many took notes.

Little Molas lake

At little molas lake we did a couple test to find out how healthy the water it. All the tests came back healthy and good making the lake very good for life, minerals, and more.The water quality tests that we did at little molas made me think about how with just a couple tests you can find out how healthy water is. We did not have a clock so we did not know when five min was up so we just like guessed for it.
