Expedition Reflection
First, I understood very little about animals suffering because of plastic pollution. This was an eye-opening experience. I got to see out of this perfect town and look into how other animals are living because of us.
As a team, my partner Violet did not have any strengths but, we had a lot of challenges. The first challenge that we had was not having a plan, but when we got one I changed it to fit our schedules. One other challenge that we had was my partner not showing up to the Earth Day clean up I pained at a time when we could have both gone but my partner did not come she did not even tell me that she was not going. I had given her a lot of reminders the same day telling her when to get there and where it was. The action plan that we made we to have an Earth Day clean-up right next to the Aderston store because there are a lot of homeless. As an extension project, I emailed the head of The Durango Harold and asked them if they could add a reminder in the news that I was going host a clean-up. I also emailed Mayer to ask her to reinforce the littering rules and fine. The effect that the environmental plan had in Durango was not very big but another girl named Ellie cleaned up so much that could harm the plants and the trash and waste that we picked up. I think that a couple of things that I could have improved was The Durango Huraled a little earlier so they could have put it in the new but they did not.
We had to chose a planet and put some fun facts and other in formation my fav line was Get Mercury and wonder were you got caners.
We did a Lab about plate tectonics and the different types of plates tectonic inter act with each other. I did is where I had to learn about plate tectonics and had to answer a lot of questions too. One of the questions was: “Describe the movement of plates at divergent boundaries?” My answer was: “It is when two plates are moving away this is usually
Learning target: I can identify and explain the processes involved in the rock cycle, including weathering, erosion, deposition, sedimentation, compaction, and cementation, through hands-on experimentation in a rock cycle lab. I met this target by paying full attention to what we were doing, I also did it hands-on with my partner, and I shared my thoughts about what was going on with my partner. The lab was where we had a bunch of starbursts and we put the starbursts in many stages like putting them under heat, and preasher. Then we had to draw and write adout the steps.
Earth Rocks Final Reflection
The Earth Project was very fun I learned about South America. I learned a lot of Geology like all the minerals and rocks, about some of the rock layers in the cost of south america, and how to talk louder and present slower so every one can understand it. Over all I think that this was one of the funnest expedition that I have ever made and presented, it was also very interesting to watch how the other groups were working. I think my grade over all for this is a exceeds because I had a great presentation and I memorized everything and my model showed all the layers of it.
