Welcome, to my TPOL and thank you for coming. You are here today to listen to me explain what I'm learning in class and what I have achieved. Some of my goals that I accomplished for this year are working on my Numbers and operation because that is the only math skill I was behind. I think I can complete this goal because I have a tutoring group that has been supporting me. Another goal that I have been working on is reading faster because I am a very slow reader, I will be accomplishing this goal by reading at home, not just at school, I have completed this goal by ready more, I read a 575 pg book in a month.

I did the Mississippi valley losses pains I talked about it and about the white tailed deer. For this expedition I got a meets over all, I am proud of this because we had to get up in front of all the parents. I stressed for this expedition because I have never had to present to such a big group. I also talked about the white tailed deer.
For this exhibition we Interviewed a person in our family about were they immigrated from. I did my mom and how she immigrated from Brazil. We have also learned about Others immigration stories and the push and pulls of there immigration. We made posters on why stories matter I made this with three examples and three paragraphs.
In this exhibition we learned about current events and had a Socratic Seminar about it and our parents came to see it.
This video we also made for the silk roads exhibition. Me and my partner Ryann chose to do a thriller movie trailer. We made it about a killer that killed many along the silk road looking for revenge.
The hardest thing that I have grown in and the hardest for me to do is Group work. This year, I have grown so much in group work by sharing my ideas and working with new people. At the beginning of the year, I was not very good at this. I always wanted to do it my way, but I think this year, because of the supportive people around me and all their bright ideas, I have learned to trust them and let them do it their way. With this, I have shown a lot of respect to my peers. I think I can work on being more helpful with ideas, worksheets, papers, and more, because usually I will only think about my work. I showed all of this on the Silk Road exhibition yesterday. Taking ownership, I think, could work on it because my group needed some. After all, we would fight over who messed up and stuff like that. So next year I want to work on bringing more ownership to school, but also out of school.
This year I have grown not just in my grades but also in the habits of heart and mind like showing respect to everyone. I am very proud of my growth in my grades but I am also mainly proud of my group work and working being able to think before I speak or act. I believe I'm ready for 8th grade because I want to keep improving my grades, expanding my knowledge and working on my habits of heart and mind for my future. This year was a whirlwind of memories and learning and I'm prepared for next year.
Even though this year has been an extremely long roller coaster, it's filled with good memories and growth. I have been growing this year mentally and physically, I still have a lot of room for improvement. Overall this year has shown me my real friends and has made me a better person. It also shown me who makes me better and who dont. This year because I have been more awar of others I have been able to apreashent the great community I dont just have at school buit also that hockey and lacrosse. Thank you all for listening to my 7th grade TPOL, any questions?
