We talked, read, and watched about how mistakes can help you grow your brain even if you don't fix them. Your brain will grow every time you make a mistake. Even without realizing it, it will spark your brain to produce more electrical activity, helping it grow and making you smarter. "Is a brain signal thought to reflect conscious attention to mistakes." This quote from the article explains what the second reaction of the brain is if you make a mistake. This year I am already feeling very good about math because I have had great improvement, making my grade early 8th and one thing mid 8th. This year, one of my goals is to work harder in math because last year I was not paying a lot of attention to math, but there year I want to grow more and try to get more exeeds in math.
My overall grade is early 8th, so I'm right on the dot, and my percentile is 82. I'm proud of this because for the last couple of years, one or the other topic was behind, like geometry. My goal for the end of this year is to score early 9th grade, at least most of everything.
On this end of unit test I got a approaching which I was able to bump up to a meets over all I got 10.5/14 on this. In the math work book I was able to get a meets+. I think being able to keep up with my math grades when I went on a trip in the middle of this unit was the hardest because when we do math we also do learning in class like extra papers so I missed that. This unit was one that I learned new things in because last year I did not learn any new things but this year we started the year with something new. This unit helped me grow and become better at geometry which I have never been very good at.
#1 This quiz I got a 5/5, which is a meets
#2 I got a 4/5 on this because I missed one week of school and still did my work, but did not learn what we were doing in class.
#3 I got a 4/5 on this unit quiz. On the next one, I want to get all of them right.
