MOSMAN PREP P&F - Uniforms

Prep takes pride in the school uniform and requests that the boys wear it properly.

This means • shirts tucked in • caps on • ties straight • socks up • black shoes on • blazers on in winter.

The Prep Formal Uniform is outlined below along with the Sports (PE) and House Uniforms.

For Senior Primary - please see advice on the team sports uniforms below - noting that there will be some changes in early 2026 (refer to Prep notices).

We also ask parents to consider buying from the Recycled Uniform Shop before purchasing new from Midford.

For your convenience, the Recycled Uniform shop will open prior to the 2026 year commencing - Wednesday 28 January from 1pm - 3pm.

FORMAL UNIFORM

When in formal uniform, varsity caps must be worn to and from school. Sun hats are compulsory at school, but are not to be worn to or from school. Blue shirts can be short or long, and blazers are compulsory in Terms 3 & 4 only.

Note on ties - Junior Primary have a square-ended ties and Senior Primary have pointy-end ties.

SPORTS UNIFORMS

On PE days, boys will be required to wear their Sports Uniform (navy blue polo shirt). Sports shoes must be predominately white.

On special occasions such as Terrey Hills and athletics or swimming carnivals, boys will also be asked to wear their House Sports Uniform.

Senior Primary only - note that his advice will change in early 2026

For Saturday sports and after-school sports training, boys will need to wear their team sports uniform.

For basketball, the singlets require your son's unique number to be on the back and this will be communicated by Prep prior to the start of your first summer sport season. Please advise Midford of this number when ordering your son's basketball singlet.

For cricket, boys should be in long white pants (purchased from any sporting shop) and may wish to use their own bat.

Shoes worn to basketball and cricket need to be mostly white, soccer and rugby boots need to be mostly black.

Extra gear - soccer boys need shin pads, while rugby boys need mouth guards and headgear (optional).
