Thank you for considering taking on the role of Events Coordinator.
You will be required to plan year group social events and possibly support a whole-of-school event.
We ask that you invite your classroom teachers to one of your parent-only events as thank you for all of their hard work and dedication.
Please see below for more advice on hosting these events and your allocated whole-of-school event.

The P&F encourages you to organise a variety of events across the year - we recommend 2-3 events per year.
Your class parents team can decide what events to hold, how many and when to schedule them.
See below for examples of events that have worked in the past:

Timing
You must refer to the Year Groups Event Calendar when scheduling year group events.
Once you have decided your events schedule you will need to update the calendar with your year group and event type.
The P&F will then liaise with Prep to confirm - this ensures there are no clashes with other events - and you will be notified once the dates are approved.
Tickets
Year group events are ticketed via your Year Group TryBooking Account - and only those attending will pay.
Please elect that the ticket cost includes all processing fees.
Event ticket prices must be reasonable - we ask that you keep costs below $80pp. We also suggest that attendees bring, or buy, their own drinks at the event.
Class funds are not to be used to subsidise events.
Note - Father-Son Camp and your teacher thank you event date must be locked in by Term 1 (Week 5).
We recommend that you invite your classroom teachers to one of your parent events - providing an opportunity for parents to say thank you to our amazing teachers.
Event type - parent-only event
Timing: the event can he held at any time throughout the year (we suggesting sending your teachers a 'save the date' as early as possible)
Classroom teachers: invite your year group classroom teachers, plus teacher's assistants (for junior primary only).
Costs: you will need to cover the cost of teacher attendance at your event; by incorporating this into the ticket price or utilising funds from your class account.
Year groups may be asked to support a whole of school event - please see the 2026 allocation below.
The P&F will be in touch with guidance on the format of your event allocated and will be there to support you along the way.
