During Junior year in the Health Sciences pathway, we begin to switch gears into patient care. While still reviewing first aid and keeping our skills fresh, we also study the 11 body systems. During this unit, we pay special attention to the nervous system and psychology. This allows for students to dissect human behavior and emotions as well as their own behaviors and emotions. During Junior students work closely with local hospitals and doctors to receive a first hand experience with medical facilities. By the end of Junior year students have meddled in a several areas of Health Sciences and have more or less an idea of the career they will work towards pursuing from that point forward.
