NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is a mental health organization that is dedicated to advocating, educating, supporting, and raising public awareness of mental health so that everyone that is affected by mental illness can have support knowing that others care.
Our goal is to make ATC NAMI fun and inclusive as well as to promote good mental health and end the stigma around it.
At ATC NAMI, we believe in a diverse and inclusive club where all administrators, facilitators, students, and members — regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, age, or sexual orientation — feel valued and respected.
Inclusion: Everyone is welcome.
Compassion: We practice respect (what is discussed in NAMI, stays in NAMI), kindness, and empathy.
Empowerment: We promote confidence to embrace our goal of ending the stigma around mental illness.
