P6 Writing A Memoir

After the PSLE, the English Department encouraged the P6 English teachers to engage our students on creative writing activities, by writing a memoir of one of their experiences in our school.

A set of slides (a few samples below) and videos were discussed with the students to guide them in their thinking and writing. 

This year’s cohort are encouraged to be more creative than past year students, by having their memoirs done on Canva, videos or any other novel ways.

For those students of ours who aspire to be content creators in the future, this was their chance to exercise their ingenuity! 

By engaging in the activity, we continue to develop our students’ skills in different forms of writing (writing a memoir) and enhancing their creativity in the presentation of their ideas.  

Students also had the opportunity to reflect upon their memorable experiences in school and enable them to contribute to the learning of others through their insightful reflections.
