Building on their STELLAR Unit, Unusual Plants, the Primary 3 Unusual Plant Workshop is now in its third successful year. This hands-on experience brings learning to life as students interact with fascinating carnivorous plants like the Venus flytrap and pitcher plant. Not only do they get to touch, observe, and even feed these plants, but this year, students are also discovering new types of unusual plants, deepening their understanding of descriptive language used in English and exploring scientific concepts like plant adaptations. This workshop highlights the connection between English and Science, showing students how knowledge is integrated across subjects rather than learned in isolation.Â
