The SSEF Portal is used for all projects (Main Category and Junior Scientist). Please refer to this page for technical issues.
(For full details, please refer to the SSEF Portal Student Guide)
Modifying Project Details after Submission
Once the project details (e.g. Project Title, Category, Student Name) on the first page of the SSEF Portal are submitted and the project code is generated, no edits can be made.
Please do not e-mail the SSEF organisers with requests to modify these details as we will reject all such requests without exception.
If edits are necessary, please delete the original project submission with the erroneous details, and re-submit a fresh project submission (a new project code will be generated).
Withdrawal of Projects
Project submissions that are to be withdrawn can be deleted from the portal by the student who created the project submission.
Please do not e-mail the SSEF organisers with requests to delete / withdraw projects, as we will reject all such requests without exception.
Late Submission
The SSEF organisers will regard submission as complete when the project documents are successfully uploaded to the SSEF Portal.
Once the SSEF Portal is closed, students will not be able to upload project documents or make any further changes to the project submission.
Please do not e-mail the SSEF organisers with requests to check whether last minute submissions were successful. We seek students' understanding that we will not entertain requests for confirmatory checks, as we are dealing with a large number of queries and will be focusing our efforts to attend to high priority cases.
Please do not e-mail the SSEF organisers to requests to accommodate late submissions. All requests for late submissions will be rejected by default, unless there are very strong reasons to justify the case.
Technical Support E-mail
For technical issues with the SSEF Portal (e.g. unable to log in, password issues), please contact Goodtech at support@goodtech.com.sg
Please ensure that you send the e-mail to the correct e-mail address.
The SSEF Portal is used for students to submit projects for SSEF.
In addition to submission of project documents on SSEF Portal, students need to complete the SSEF Entry Form.
Please refer to the following guides to create accounts and use the SSEF Portal:
Student account (updated 12 Dec 2025)
Applicants are strongly advised to complete and submit the documents as early as possible, and avoid the period of server congestion just before the deadline. Late submissions will not be entertained.
Note: The SSEF Portal is only to be used for registration for SSEF 2026 from 18 Nov 2025. The SSEF Portal will undergo a final round of system maintenance and testing before the Portal is open for registration, and all the data input during the testing phase will be purged. Accounts created and project submissions made prior to this date may be irrecoverably deleted.
