During project registration, a Project Code will be allocated to each project automatically.
All projects (Main Category & Junior Scientist) should submit:
Project documents (abstract and report) on SSEF Portal by 14 Jan 2026 (Wed), 5pm. This deadline will be strictly adhered to. All requests to modify project submissions (including uploading / re-uploading of project documents, changes to team composition, project title, category, etc.) will not be entertained. Junior Scientist projects to submit video links on SSEF Portal between 19 Jan 2026 (Mon) and 3 Feb 2026 (Tue), 5pm. This deadline will be strictly adhered to. See JS Video Submission page for more details.
Project documents will be checked after submission (from 15 Jan to 21 Jan).
The status of project documents (including the list of documents which require changes) will be provided to Teacher Coordinators by 22 Jan 2026 (Thu), along with instructions on how to resubmit files (via Highway).
Amended project documents need to be resubmitted via Highway by 23 Jan 2026 (Fri), 5pm.
No changes to the content of the project documents (apart from the required changes) are allowed - teams who are found to have flouted this rule will be disqualified.
ISEF will be checked after submission.
The list of ISEF Forms which require changes will be provided to Teacher Coordinators by 2 Feb 2026 (Mon).
Amended ISEF Forms should be resubmitted by 6 Feb 2026 (Fri).
Junior Scientist projects to submit video links on SSEF Portal between 19 Jan 2026 (Mon) and 3 Feb 2026 (Tue), 5pm. This deadline will be strictly adhered to. See JS Video Submission page for more details.
Teacher Coordinators will receive an e-mail containing:
results of the preliminary judging;
remarks provided by the judges for preliminary judging;
details of the Student Finalist Briefing; and
a link to register student finalists for the Finalist Project Consultations.
Detailed administrative instructions about the SSEF will be provided to student finalists.
Project teams which require additional support can book a slot through their Teacher Coordinator on a first-come-first-served basis.
These consultations are intended to support teams without external support (e.g. project mentor from research institute).

Certificates, trophies and other awards will be prepared and dispatched to schools by Science Centre Singapore after SSEF. This should typically reach schools by end-June.
