No goalkeeper punts, ball must stay below head height, otherwise possession and a free kick will be awarded to the opposing team
No slide tackles, players must not go to ground to steal possession back
No Throw-ins from the sidelines; instead ball is placed on ground and passed in to a teammate with the foot
Free kicks and corners the opposing team has to be minimum of 4.5m away from the ball
With a penalty kick, all players behind the ball except for the penalty kicker
Step forward with non-kicking foot to the side of the ball
Swing kicking leg and use your inner side foot to strike through the ball
Follow through the kicking leg for power, point inner side foot to target
Cushion the ball to stop the ball in place
Follow up with a step and short pass
Students play a 5v5 football game without goalkeeper, with appropriate rules
Students execute skills of dribbling, passing, shooting, defending and a combination of these skills, with good form to perform intended outcomes
Students demonstrate good control and balance when dribbling and passing to set up opportunities for themselves and teammates to shoot at goal when enacting offensive and defensive strategies
Students adjust their positions to maintain frontal view of the goal post when attacking and place themselves between the attacker and goal post when defending
In attacking the goal, students make good use of available space to penetrate defense or create space to set up attacking opportunities for teammates to score
In defending the goal, students work together to defend attackers, to slow down the attacking line, deny attacking space, prevent scoring and regain possession of the ball
