Students play a 3-on-3, half-court basketball game, with appropriate rules.
Students are able to execute skills of passing, dribbling, and shooting, and also in combinations of skills, with good form to influence intended outcomes
Students are able to apply good footwork to change speed and direction, stop in balance, and pivot when enacting offensive and defensive strategies
Students are able to passing accurately to team mates to advance the ball while maintaining possession.
In attacking the basket, students make use of available space to penetrate the defense and support teammate to score, or create space to set up attacking opportunities if none is obvious
In defending the basket, the team works together to slow down an attack by guarding attackers, denying attacking space, preventing scoring and attempting to regain possession of the ball
Be aware of your role and your responses.
Role and Responses:
Attacker
On the ball - Dribble, Pass or Shoot
Off the ball - Support
Defender
On the ball - Tackle (Get the ball back)
Off the ball - Mark (Prevent attack from getting the ball)

Pivoting allows you to change direction and look for a pass or shot
Do not move with the foot you stopped on - that is against the rules.
If you stopped on both feet at the same time you can choose which foot on which to pivot.
Lift the heel of your pivot foot and transfer weight over it
Lift your non-pivot foot up and use it to turn your body by making short little steps to steady your balance
Keep your back straight, your head up and knees bent.
After completing the pivot, your body should return to the basic stance. Steady yourself on the balls of your feet and get ready for your next move.
Your partner will be given some time to practice his shots. Once he is ready, you will have to observe his 5 consecutive shots. For every shots, observe and check on the checklist in the form. There are 4 checks that you have to watch out for in every shot.

As 1 team is playing in the game area, the other team observe at the observation area. Ensure that each player has an observer. Through the Google Form, count and record the number of Pass, Receive, Shot and Lost Ball. After 2 mins of gameplay, rotate (the playing team will now be the observing team and observing team will now play).
Show CARE for one another. Do the assessment properly as this can help your classmate improve his game.
Click on the link above to see your feedback on your performance. Discuss with the observer on your performance and reflect how you can improve your performance in the next game.
