🕘 Session Focus: Designing and Facilitating Learning Experiences to Develop Students’ Adaptive Thinking
In the first part of our PD programme, our teacher leaders facilitated a Professional Conversation Package centered on adaptive thinking — a key competency under the E21CC framework.
The session supported teachers in planning and delivering learning experiences that nurtured adaptive thinking and other E21CC competencies in our students.
The session concluded with a 15-minute subject-based discussion, where teachers began shaping a lesson idea that intentionally incorporated strategies to develop adaptive thinking.
Key Highlights:
📝 Immediate Application: Teachers translated their learning into lesson planning while ideas were still fresh.
📊 Shared Ideas: Each group captured their initial lesson idea in the Google Sheet.
🔄 Refinement Opportunities: These lesson ideas will continue to be refined during department meetings, PLTs, or other follow-up platforms.
✨ By the end of the session, every teacher left with a concrete starting point to embed adaptive thinking in classroom practice, laying the foundation for deeper collaboration and innovation in future planning.

🌟 Showcasing E21CC in Action [OPSS]
Objective: To create a platform for teachers to learn from one another by highlighting examples of strategies, lesson ideas, and practices that have effectively engaged students in applying E21CC.
This initiative is also aligned to one of our E21CC workplan goals, which is to build teacher capacity in integrating and nurturing these competencies meaningfully.
