Implement when a student:
shows signs of frustration/restlessness
Implement when a student is showing signs of disruption
Strategies:
Give yourself opportunities to walk around the classroom – e.g. vary teaching methods to allow you to walk around
When giving directions, maintain proximity to at-risk students
Place student close to you in seating arrangements
Place student at teacher’s table when doing class assignments/watching videos
Assign student to be a teacher assistant (e.g. counting worksheets/packing teacher’s table)
