Our adventure in Ho Chi Minh City continued with a lovely breakfast at Ut Trinh Homestay, followed by check-out. Excited for the day ahead, we took a boat trip to the local brick kilns. There, we watched the locals skillfully transform clay into beautiful pottery, gaining insight into this traditional craft.
Afterward, we enjoyed lunch at a local restaurant, tasting authentic Vietnamese dishes. We then headed to Crescent Mall for some shopping, exploring its modern shops and vibrant atmosphere.
Next, we visited the Central Post Office, marveling at its stunning architecture and learning about its history. As the sun set, we arrived at Ben Thanh Night Market for some last-minute shopping and to experience the lively energy of local vendors.
Dinner was a delightful North Indian feast, providing a comforting end to our busy day. We wrapped up with a debrief at the hotel, reading the short story "The Goat Horn Bell" to prepare for our visit to the War Remnants Museum the next day. It was a day filled with learning and cultural immersion, leaving us eager for what was next.
