We can try using a decision making table
6 easy steps!
What are some considerations when making your choice? What is important to you? Make a list at the first column (get help from AI tools!).
List your options on the top row.
On a scale of 1 to 10, rate each course in the corresponding cell. (1 being low, 10 being the high)
Example; In terms of interest, I feel business is 9/10. Whereas for environmental, my interest level is a 6.
On a scale of 1 to 5, rate how important each considerations is to you.
Example; Interest is very important to me when i study the program (give it 4/5), while distance from school may be a consideration, but not too important (give it 1/5).
Multiply the weightage by your ratings.
Calculate the total of each option at the bottom of each column. Compare the results.
While completing this exercise, you likely already have a sense of your top choice. This table helps clarify the distinction between your options by assigning a numerical value to each one.
