We kindly ask you to follow these trash disposal guidelines to help keep the environment clean and to ensure a smooth check-out process.

In Florence, recycling is very important. Please separate your waste into the following categories:

1. Paper and Cardboard:

   • Examples: Newspapers, magazines, cardboard boxes, paper bags, and paper packaging.

   • Disposal: Use the blue bins for paper and cardboard.

2. Plastic and Metal:

   • Examples: Plastic bottles, cans, aluminum foil, plastic containers.

   • Disposal: Place these in the yellow bin.

3. Glass:

   • Examples: Glass bottles, jars, and glass containers.

   • Disposal: Please place glass items in the green bins (you’ll find a designated area for glass disposal, which is separate from regular bins).

4. Organic Waste (Food Waste):

   • Examples: Fruit/vegetable peels, coffee grounds, leftover food, and other biodegradable waste.

   • Disposal: Use the brown bins for food waste.

5. Non-Recyclable Waste:

   • Examples: Diapers, broken items, tissues, vacuum bags, and anything that cannot be recycled.

   • Disposal: Please put these in the gray bin.

Where to Find the Street Bins:

The street bins are usually located near the building entrance or along the nearby streets. Please look for the appropriately colored bins:
