Here are quick instructions for using the main appliances in your apartment
1. Washing Machine
Loading the Washer:
Open the door and place your clothes inside, ensuring you don’t overload the machine (leave space for clothes to move freely).
Adding Detergent:
Use the detergent drawer to add detergent. The drawer will typically have compartments labeled as:
I – for pre-wash detergent
II – for main wash detergent
Softener – for fabric softener
Selecting the Wash Cycle:
Turn the dial to select the appropriate wash cycle (e.g., Cotton, Delicates, Quick Wash).
Adjust the temperature, spin speed, and other settings if necessary.
Starting the Cycle:
Press the start button (usually green or marked as "Start/Pausa").
If needed, select the spin speed and extra rinse options.
After the Wash:
Once the cycle finishes, open the door carefully and remove your clothes promptly to prevent wrinkles.
2. Oven
Preheating the Oven:
Turn the temperature knob to your desired setting (e.g., 180°C for baking).
Wait for the oven to preheat, usually for 10-15 minutes. Some ovens will signal once they reach the desired temperature.
Using the Oven:
Place your food on the middle rack for even heat distribution.
If the oven has a fan setting, it will circulate heat more evenly.
Timer: Set the timer according to your recipe's cooking time.
After Cooking:
Turn the oven off using the temperature dial.
Be cautious, as the oven can remain hot for some time after use.
3. Gas Stove
Turning On the Gas:
Turn the knob for the burner you want to use to the light position.
Press the knob down to ignite the gas with the built-in spark. You should hear a clicking sound, and the burner should ignite.
Adjust the flame using the knob to achieve the desired heat (higher for boiling, lower for simmering).
Turning Off the Gas:
After cooking, turn the burner knob off completely.
Ensure that the gas is turned off when you are finished.
4. Induction Stove
Powering On:
Press the power button to turn the induction stove on.
Place a compatible induction pan (magnetic bottom) on the cooking surface.
Adjusting the Temperature:
Use the + and - buttons to adjust the heat level. Induction cooktops heat up very quickly.
Safety feature: The stove will not work without a compatible pan.
Turning Off:
When done, press the power button to turn off the induction stove.
Allow the surface to cool before cleaning.
5. Microwave
Powering On:
Press the power button or turn the dial to set the microwave to the desired cooking time.
Set the power.
Heating or Cooking:
Place food in a microwave-safe container and place it inside the microwave.
Close the door and press the start button. Check the food halfway through and stir if needed for even heating.
After Cooking:
When the microwave beeps, carefully open the door (use oven mitts if the container is hot).
Press the stop button when you’re finished.
6. Air Conditioner
Turning On:
Use the remote control or wall unit to power on the air conditioner.
Set the desired temperature (typically between 18°C and 22°C).

Mode Selection:
Select Cool Mode for air conditioning, Fan Mode for ventilation, or Dry Mode to reduce humidity.

Set a timer if you want the air conditioner to turn off automatically after a certain period.
Turning Off:
Press the off button on the remote or wall unit once you’re done.
