• The course is delivered over two years.

• Students complete a total of 12 units of competency:

  • 6 core units

  • 6 elective units

4. Textile Product Assembly – Assembling basic products and working with different fabrics.

5. Sustainability – Implementing environmentally sustainable practices.

6. Textile Design and Production – Creating, sketching, and producing textile items using techniques like felting, knitting, sewing, spinning, or weaving.

7. Pattern Modification – Adjusting patterns to meet specific design needs.

8. Millinery – Designing and constructing simple headpieces or accessories.

9. Textile Embellishment – Using methods like embroidery, appliqué, and beadwork to enhance textile products.
