DRAFTING THE SEMINARY FORMATION ITINERARY

On June 23-24, 2025 the formators of the seminaries within the San Carlos Seminary Pastoral Formation Complex namely: San Carlos Seminary, Our Lady of Guadalupe Minor Seminary, Holy Apostles Senior Seminary, and the Lorenzo Mission Institute gathered for the second time since May 2024 for the drafting of the Formation Itinerary of the respective seminaries. There were two questions to be answered by the formators: 1) what are the needs of the Archdiocese of Manila; 2) what kind of priest does the Archdiocese of Manila envisions and desires to have. The answers to these questions would be the content of the Formation Itinerary of the respective seminary. The Lorenzo Mission Institute addresses the need for a missionary oriented local Church and thus, the programs of the seminary follows suit. Fr. Augusto Angeles facilitated and navigated the seminary formators in drafting the formation itinerary. The conferences were held at the Lorenzo Mission Institute which was headed by Msgr. Noly Que, LRMS, rector of the seminary.
