LMI COMMUNITY CELEBRATES CHINESE MOON CAKE FESTIVAL
LMI COMMUNITY CELEBRATES CHINESE MOON CAKE FESTIVAL
On October 6, 2025, the Lorenzo Mission Institute Community celebrated the Chinese Moon Cake Festival. It was a big celebration for the whole community in LMI in solidarity with the Chinese communities in the world celebrating this wonderful tradition to be together as a community to dine, to tell stories, to relate with each other, and to play the dice games which was part of the family tradition in Chinese since time in memorial. In LMI, the priest formators, the personnel, and the seminarians gather together to celebrate the spirit of the moon-cake festival among the Chinese world. The celebration was preceded by the evening prayer. The celebration of the moon-cake festival was wonderfully and meaningfully celebrated with Msgr. Noly Que, LRMS as the Rector and head of the community. It was also participated by Fr. Joseph Feng, LRMS and the Chinese seminarians who led the whole community to meaningfully celebrate this wonderful tradition which LMI had held so dear since the time of its inception until today.
