You may have noticed a door on the right side of your room- this leads to "Adventure Mode". In this mode, your petz will appear outside and you now have the ability to run around, buy fishing rods from Lucky, and fish. You can also sell the fish you catch in exchange for shells that allow you to buy partz, boxes, and eggs or even exchange them for coinz or gemz. Last but not least, if it's night time, you might even run into Bandi.
Daily Tasks and Achievements are goals that reward you based on your gameplay. They can be viewed by pressing the calendar button in the top left of your home, and are displayed underneath your Login Bonus.
Daily Tasks - These are goals for you to complete that day (based on in-game time).
Achievements - These are long-term goals for you to complete. Note that anything you completed before Achievements were added are not counted.
In the petz room there will be a card on the right with a pawprint. This pedigree card displays each individual partz used to make the petz. You can press the icon on the top left of any partz to go straight to the creator's profile.
Your petz age in real time. Pretty cool, huh? However, if you'd like to instantly grow your petz, there is also a Growth Potion in the clothing shop that will age your petz by 10 days.
From the petz' page you can press the little cake icon next to their age to retire them. You will then see a popup giving you more information and asking you to confirm your decision.
Note: You can unretire a petz by using a Rebirth Potion on it.
Once you have bred your petz, they will be pregnant for 5 days before giving birth. Litters range from 1 - 3 babyz, and each are unique. To see the progress of a petz' pregnancy, you can also find a timer in the bottom right of their page. Pressing the button will also give you a prompt allowing you to speed up the pregnancy for a gemz fee. You can also use pro-breeding if you want more control over how your babyz will look, and if you want them right away. If your babies turn out blank, please see our article on the hospital button.
Upon creating a petz or breeding new babiez, there is a very small chance of obtaining a shiny petz. This petz will sparkle, and the colour of the sparkles will depend on the petz' personality. There are no gameplay benefits to having a shiny- they're purely cosmetic!
Each petz will have a randomly generated personality upon creation. Some personalities are more rare than others, and if the petz is also shiny it will determine the colour of the sparkling effect. Personalities will also have an effect on auto-fishing in Adventure Mode. More features that include personalities will be added in the future!
For a complete guide on personalities, check out our page here.
You can replace partz on one of your existing petz by going to the petz page > edit (only if you are the pixer). Once you're in the edit screen, press the store button to access shop partz or partz that are in your inventory. Once you've decided on the partz you wish to replace, press the purchase button or owned button and a pop-up will appear asking if you'd like to give them a new body part. If you're sure you wish to replace the partz, check the box and confirm, then go ahead and edit/save your new design!
Note: Once you check off and replace the old partz, you do not get the old partz back! The feature is intended to replace a part, not exchange/switch.
Please also note that you are not able to leave the edit screen until the petz is saved- backing out by closing the app will revert to before the new partz was chosen, but the partz will still be consumed as long as you checked it off. We cannot refund you if you bypass the system this way!
There are two different ways you can give edits to another player, both of which require you to be the petz' original pixer.
If you want the other person to have their name on the Pixer List, go to the petz' room and press your name displayed in the bottom right, next to the pencil icon. A menu will come up that allows you to search for and add the other player. Note that this player will be able to edit the design of the petz, as well as update the partz.
The other option is to allow the other player the ability to only edit the design of the petz. You can do this by giving the petz to the other player, going to the petz' page, and pressing the toggle next to the players name (located in the bottom middle of the screen). This option can also be automatically toggled on when listing a petz for sale by checking off "Allow edit after purchase". Note that giving someone else edits will also give them the design in their pixtory, and anytime they trade the petz away, it will also come with edits for the new owner.
If you feel like there are too many toyz in your room or you simply feel like resetting it, there is actually an arrow button that you can press on the toy closet. This should completely reset your room to the default toyz that you get when you first start the game.
There are a couple of ways you can get a dragon egg! The most well-known methods are by logging in for 100 days or exchanging shells in Adventure Mode. You can also get an egg by breeding (all types), however there is a very low chance of it appearing. There are some rare events where you can buy a dragon egg in the shop for real money, or you could simply buy/trade an egg from another player.
Petz cannot change clothes when they're in a contest. Wait until the contest is finished to dress it up again. If you're not sure that your petz is in currently in a contest, you will see a trophy icon in the closet to indicate this.
There are a couple reasons why you may not be able to enter your petz into a contest. The first most common reason is that your petz is either too old or did not fit all of the requirements for that contest. Some contests are limited by clothing, DYO partz, and species. There are also contests that require your petz to have achieved a certain amount of Showpoints.
To check out how many Showpoints your petz currently has, you can go to their room and look at the glass case (this is also where your petz' awards will show).
To store any extra partz you have, go to the partz shop and press the suitcase icon. From there, you will see a button with 4 arrows on the right side next to the suitcase. Press this icon and select up to 30 partz you'd like to store. When you're finished selecting, press the checkmark.
When you want to take partz back out, simply press the storage icon (the brown arrow).
Similarly to how you put partz into storage, you can also store petz. If you go to the petz' room, you will notice a big brown arrow in the top right. Pressing this brings up the option to store the petz.
Once stored, the petz can be retrieved by going into your boxes, pressing the brown arrow, and then pressing the green arrow in the top right to check off which petz you'd like to return to your boxes.
You may also notice that your petz storage has 3 different categories/tabs. The first tab is for petz that you have pixed yourself, the second tab is for petz pixed by other players, and the third tab is for retired petz (retired petz are automatically stored here and will not appear in your boxes).
Lastly, there is no fee to storing or retrieving petz, so do not worry about the price!
You will no longer have infinite box space, but worry not! Even if you're over your limit, no petz will be lost, you just won't be able to pix new ones until you have space again.
You will no longer have access to tools such as color wheel or line edit, while any petz already made will remain as they are (unless you edit them and save over the previous version).
Go to the petz' page in which you would like to request to breed with and press the little Valentine icon in the bottom right (this will show up if the player allows Valentines). A window will pop up that allows you to select between sending a regular Valentine and a Valentine X, with their respective descriptions. Once you have one selected and paid for, you can send the player/petz the Valentine by pressing the purple trade button. There is also an eyeball button that allows you to preview the potential babiez.
