Join a day dedicated to slowing down and reconnecting with nature.
The day begins with a short senses awareness meditation, followed by a gentle saunter through the grounds. In slowing down, observation and curiosity come alive, allowing deeper awareness of the natural world.
Participants will be invited to explore both inner and outer landscapes through reflective writing, interspersed with moments of stillness and grounding activities.

Solo medicine walks: Time to walk alone on marked paths through the plantation, using simple prompts to support mindful listening, noticing and presence. You remain within the safety of the group while moving at your own pace.
Quiet sitting: Periods of seated stillness in a sheltered woodland clearing, offering space for reflection and deep rest.
Journaling time: Optional writing moments after silence to gently gather insights and impressions.
Closing circle: We join together for the closing circle to connect and share our experiences.

Practical details
What to bring: Comfortable, layered clothing suitable for woodland conditions; waterproofs and sturdy footwear in case of damp ground; a notebook and pen if you wish to journal; water and a light snack. Mobile phones should be switched to silent and stored away during the retreat.
Accessibility: Paths include gentle natural terrain. Please let us know in advance of any mobility or access needs so we can support you.
Weather: The retreat runs in most weather; activities may be adapted to ensure comfort and safety.
Group size: Small, intentionally limited to preserve quiet and a sense of safety for solo practices.
