Monday, October 13 is Indigenous Peoples' Day. All are invited to teach students about the histories, cultures, treaty rights, and Tribal sovereignty of the 12 Native American Nations in Wisconsin. First Nations Studies has a curated collection of introductory resources to teach about Native Nations on our mConnect page.
Remember that the following are always available to you:
Browse digital resources in the Teaching Resources section of our mConnect pages
Request land acknowledgement posters, maps, and student workbooks through the Consumable Request Form
Borrow books from the First Nations Studies library, either by asking for specific titles or recommendations to teach about a particular topic, by completing the Book Request Form
Connect with First Nations Studies staff for recommendations and guidance on accurate lesson plans and resource recommendations
