Course Overview and Purpose
The purpose of this course is to teach students what they need to know and prepare them to be successful in business as professional midwives.

Know how to start a home-birth midwifery practice.
Have all the paperwork and forms necessary to start a home-birth midwifery practice.
Know how to network with professionals in her area, medical and otherwise.
Know how to manage her practice and remain within legal and ethical boundaries.
Know how to market her practice and be successful in business.
Have a working knowledge of the insurance billing cycle.
