This training guides school teams through the I-MTSS framework, a comprehensive and equitable approach for intentionally integrating Academic (MTSS-A) and Social-Emotional-Behavioral (MTSS-B/PBIS) systems. Teams will compare current frameworks, plan for comprehensive data-driven decision-making, design an integrated continuum of research-informed practices, and develop integrated teaming and coaching structures for sustained, scaled implementation.
I-MTSS training emphasizes the "how and what" of integration. While it provides the roadmap, a robust I-MTSS and the time required to achieve your intended outcomes from integration are built upon high-fidelity foundations. Therefore, schools should continue to engage in specific Tier 1 or Tier 2 PBIS Team training to ensure their SEB framework is implemented with fidelity.
