Each school setting should be cleaned at least once per day. Additional cleaning if available should be focused on frequently touched surfaces – door handles, hand rails, chairs/arm rests, communal eating areas, sink and toilet facilities.
Students are moving between classrooms consideration may be given to appropriate cleaning products being provided to enable them to wipe down their desk, chair and surface.
Staff will have access to cleaning products and will be required to maintain cleanliness of their own work area.
Where a student/staff member with suspected COVID-19 was present; the rooms should be cleaned as soon as practicable possible
High touch points – Identified and cleaned by staff throughout the day
Classrooms – Cleaning products in each classroom.
– All classrooms cleaned each evening
– Assembly Hall cleaned each morning (following Prep)
– Rooms used by a person with Covid symptoms is cleaned before use
Changing rooms – Boys’ changing rooms cleaned each morning
– Girls’ changing room each evening
– All classrooms cleaned each evening
Toilet areas – Checked and cleaned as required during the day
– Cleaned each evening
Dorms – Cleaned each day
Common areas – Cleaned daily with dorms
– Additionally Fri & Sun afternoon for Junior Boys/Weekend area
Laundry – Linen washed weekly
– Duvet cover biweekly
– SEN masks daily
– System for washing Boarder face coverings will be in place
