This Pyramid Model share site will not be maintained after June 30, 2025 due to the 'retirement' of MNCoE.
You can purchase a PTR-YC Manual from Brookes Publishing or Amazon. It would be helpful for each classroom implementing PTR-YC to have a copy of the Manual available in their classoom.
These slide decks are designed to support PTR-YC Team Meetings for an individual child/family. Facilitators can make a copy of each slide deck and then personalize it for each PTR-YC meeting. The slide decks walk through important elements of each PTR-YC Step and by the end of each meeting you will have the appropriate Forms completed, decisions made, and next steps identified. Click on the box to the right to "Make a Copy" of each Google Slide deck. Please provide feedback/comments/suggestions regarding use of this resource to your Professional Development Facilitator (PDF)/External Coach.
These documents are available to PTR-YC Meeting Facilitators as a resource to quickly be able to reference implementation reminders around each PTR Strategy. This information will be helpful when completing Step 4 of the PTR-YC process when selecting strategies for a Behavior Intervention Plan. Information on these documents is taken directly from the PTR-YC Manual.

If individuals or teams from your program would like to break down PD by the 5 steps of PTR-YC, this webinar series could benefit your team. There is one webinar and package of materials for each step of the PTR-YC process. You also have access to short sample meeting videos for each meeting that takes place through PTR-YC.
MNCoE is in it's third year of participating in a national project around implementation of PTR-YC. We are supported by Dr. Phil Strain, one of the authors of PTR-YC, in monthly case rotations. Dr. Strain meets virtually with 7 Behavior Coaches/Internal Coaches to work through real PTR-YC cases. The SMORE Newsletter to your right summarizes our recent "Lessons Learned." Our goal in sharing these "Lessons Learned" is for Pyramid Model sites throughout the state to gain access to the same information and be able to apply it to their PTR-YC work.
What additional data do you already collect that may also inform the PTR-YC Steps?
How can this tool be built into your BIR's and PTR-YC systems?
How will staff be supported in using this tool?
What systems are being created in your program to support PTR-YC Implementation?
What is the process staff go through to initiate the PTR-YC process on behalf of a child and family?
What steps will be taken to promote family involvement in the PTR-YC process? How/where are these steps documented?
How does PTR-YC fit in with your current Problem Solving Team or Behavior Intervention Team?
A huge thank you to Westonka for sharing their PTR-YC Manual and PTR-YC Process Checklist.
