MNCoE Vision:

Connect ~ Support ~ Empower

The Minnesota Centers of Excellence for Young Children with Disabilities (MNCoE) is the statewide professional development system for Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE). Professional Development Facilitators (PDF) in each of the state's eight economic development regions work to connect, support and empower local leaders to build capacity.

MNCoE goals:

  • We support professional development strategies based on current research and adult learning theory.

  • We support effectively using Active Implementation Science to install innovations to fidelity.

  • We partner with local leaders to support program growth and development.

  • We support program-wide quality improvement (INSPIRE ACTION and DEC Recommended Practices).

EQIP State Implementation Team (SIT)

The EQIP State Implementation Team (SIT) is a group of leaders, coaches, and early interventionists from EQIP sites along with

representatives from MNCoE, Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) and the University of Minnesota.

EQIP State Implementation Team's Mission:

EQIP State Implementation Team will use professional wisdom and data to lead, support, and empower local Implementation Teams in Minnesota to achieve sustainable high-fidelity implementation of EQIP practices.” (2020)
