Varsity Choir Auditions

If you would like to be considered for a spot in Varsity Treble or Varsity Tenor Bass choir for the 2025-2026 school year, sign up for an audition time.

The audition will include:

1. Range extension (how high and low can you sing)

2. One or more scales with handsigns

3. A short sight reading exercise (F major for girls, G major for boys)

4. Sing a small part of one of your UIL songs

You do not need to prepare for this audition. All items have already been learned.

Other factors that will be considered include daily performance in choir class throughout the 2024-2025 school year, attendance, behavior inside and outside of choir, attitude, and work ethic.

If you do not audition, or are not chosen for Varsity, you will automatically be placed in one of our Intermediate choirs, which is a great stepping stone on your way to higher level singing!
