How we plan to open school in person in the fall of 2021, including protocols we will follow.
What trends and issues we will need to address to ensure that all students will get the support they need to optimize their learning and mental health.

Opening of School Plan for In Person LearningAll K-8 students will attend in person five days per week from 8:15-3:00 pm.
All classrooms and learning spaces will adhere to the most current COVID protocols.
CES will participate in COVID pool testing.
K-8 lunches will remain in the classroom until distance protocols change.
Recess and outside movement breaks will continue in designated areas
All specials classes will be in place
Co-curricular and Extra-Curricular programs will be in session in accordance with COVID protocols
What do our students need?Continued and on-going mental health and SEL support.
Fully implemented RTI programming in place for students K-8 ( Behavior/ attendance, ELA, Math)
Increased student engagement
Clear and consistent behavioral norms.
Building school community; ie advisories, assemblies, morning meetings, etc...
Planned changes to schedules/staffing/services to address these needs using local and grant fundingAdditional support for social/ emotional learning
Flexible schedule which allows for grade level wide RTI built into daily schedule
Collaborative planning periods for staff.

Fund District Tech person (support hardware/ devices)
Part-time SEL personnel (community building/ mental health needs)
Part-time STEAM (engagement and collaborative planning)
