music theory

Music theory is an academic class for students with a serious interest in improving their musical knowledge and skills and is offered during fourth quarter. Students will study basic music reading; scale, triad, and interval construction; rhythmic and harmonic analysis; and 4-part composition. Ear training will be a component of the class, focusing on scale and interval recognition.

This course will be offered during the 2024-25 school year.
