Naviance is the college and career readiness software used by MCPS to provide students with college planning and career assessment tools. We use Naviance to transmit your counselor and teacher letters of recommendations, transcripts and other school documents to your colleges.
MCPS students automatically have access to their student accounts. Log into Naviance by entering through the 9-dot Google waffle in the upper right hand corner of your student Gmail account or by clicking the Naviance icon on the Clever home screen of your Chromebook.
If you are new to Naviance and need a code or you forgot your password, please email Ms. Kessler. Your username should be your MCPS ID number.

The Supermatch College Search tool within Naviance uses a comprehensive list of criteria to allow students to explore their options and discover colleges that match their academic profile and interests.
You can utilize the following tools under the "Self-Discovery" drop down in Naviance:
The Career Cluster Finder is an inventory that allows you to match your interests, strengths, and personal qualities with potential career areas or clusters. Your top career areas will be ranked based on your responses.
The Career Interest Profiler is an online career interest assessment for students based on Holland codes. It allows students to complete an inventory that analyzes their own interests and pairs the results with potential career matches. Career Exploration for students
The StrengthsExplorer assesses 10 talent themes for individuals and identifies each student’s three strongest emerging talents, such as Confidence, Dependability, or Future Thinker. It provides explanations of these themes, strategies for capitalizing on each, and action items to help students gain insight into their greatest talents.
