Physical Education (PE)

The Physical Education curriculum exposes all students’ to a variety of movement concepts and sports skills.  This is an activity-based class designed to develop and maintain healthful habits that can lead to increasing or maintaining an optimal level of health and physical fitness.

Health Education

The curriculum for Health Education is focused on five core concepts: 

Students will receive one quarter of health instruction each year (nine weeks) .  The instructional focus places emphasis on what students can do to prevent health problems, handle problems when they occur, and how to maintain or improve their overall health. This course not only provides information, it equips students with practical strategies applicable to  everyday life.
